Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kit Stack (kitstack.app), operated by Daniel Medina e Vasconcelos, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom ("Kit Stack", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

1. What Kit Stack is

Kit Stack is a platform for cataloguing, displaying, and tracking the value of football (and other sports) shirt collections. It is a personal project, provided on an "as is" basis, and is not a registered company or financial institution.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use Kit Stack.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know at hello@kitstack.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload — photos, notes, and collection data. By posting content to Kit Stack, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and reproduce it solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform (for example, showing your public profile or featuring collections on the homepage).

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload the content you post.

5. Photos and intellectual property

Shirts you photograph often carry club crests, sponsor logos, and manufacturer branding owned by third parties. Photographing your own physical shirts for the purpose of documenting your personal collection is incidental inclusion of that branding, not an infringing reproduction of it — the same principle recognised under section 31 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. We don't manufacture, sell, or license reproductions of any club or brand's intellectual property, and Kit Stack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any football club, league, or kit manufacturer.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't use Kit Stack to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any club or organisation

7. Market pricing and valuations

Kit Stack shows estimated market values sourced from eBay listing data. These figures are indicative only, generated automatically from third-party marketplace data, and are not financial or investment advice. Actual resale value depends on condition, provenance, buyer demand, and many other factors we can't verify. We make no guarantee of accuracy and accept no liability for decisions made based on these figures.

8. Affiliate links

Kit Stack participates in the eBay Partner Network. Some links to eBay on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through them, at no extra cost to you.

9. Third-party services

Kit Stack relies on third-party services (including Supabase, Cloudinary, Vercel, and eBay) to operate. We're not responsible for outages, errors, or changes in these services that affect Kit Stack's availability or functionality.

10. Platform availability

Kit Stack is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kit Stack is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data or reliance on market valuation figures.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll note the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Kit Stack after a change means you accept the updated terms.
